Phil has overall responsibility for building a healthy business, with a focus on growth both in New Zealand and overseas, primarily in Australia. Providing innovative solutions that deliver high customer satisfaction, in a cost effective manner, remains Phil's most important KPI for the company.
As an experienced people manager, he keeps the SASIT team of highly-technical and dedicated staff engaged and passionate about the company’s strategy, direction and customer-centricity.
Phil joined SASIT in 2004 following a career with large, typically US-based multinationals, Data General, Telecom and, latterly, IBM. In his current role, Phil is now extremely pleased to be in the position to make decisions that are most appropriate for Australasian-based businesses, scaled and packaged in a manner that work best in Australia and New Zealand.
On the weekend, away from the office, you might find Phil out on the Hauraki Gulf – one of the most stunning places on earth.
Matt is responsible for delivering SASIT’s cloud consulting and data centre services. For our customers he focusses on cloud technology, including IaaS, and on our services as an MSP.
Matt has worked in the IT industry for a large integrator and, following that, for nine years at SASIT. So he has the expertise to translate the business value of technology into actionable solutions for our customers.
Matt also donates some of his spare evenings to community work: he has been a Director of the YMCA for two-and-a-half years, serves on the Board of Diabetes Auckland and also helps mentor start-up businesses at Massey University’s ecentre on their Albany campus.
On the weekend, away from the office, the best place to find Matt is on Titirangi Golf Course – but don’t interrupt him while he’s teeing off.
Ian is responsible for ensuring that each of our customers achieves the outcomes that SASIT is engaged to deliver. Passionate about the use of technology for business advantage, Ian is a 30 year veteran of the IT industry. He brings a wealth of experience having worked for global corporations as well as innovative NZ start-ups.
Ian is SASIT’s CCS (Chief of Customer Success), focused on creating competitive advantage through the use of technology. He enjoys working with organisations to help solve problems as well as create new opportunities.
Particularly experienced with outsourcing, Ian appreciates that IT is but a tool. The benefits that IT helps realise result from bringing together the right products, people and processes, all in the right timeframes.
Outside business hours you are likely to find Ian behind a video camera, at his editing suite or maybe flying his camera-equipped quadcopter. He was President of The Auckland Movie Makers Club for three years.
