It is important for us and our customers that we are unconstrained and able to select the best product for the particular purpose.
That said, given the long period that we have been in business, over time we have developed skills and gained certifications with some technologies and not others. Outlined below is a summary of our key suppliers: those with whom we have lengthy and ongoing relationships and intimate knowledge of their product offerings
SASIT’s partnership with IBM started back in 1974 and we have continued to expand the relationship since that time. We have decades of experience with IBM mid-range systems particularly IBMi. We understand that we are the largest managed services provider in Australasia for this platform. We manage more than 110 IBMi systems for customers in New Zealand, Australia, and Asia.
In 2009 SASIT became a NetApp Partner based on the features of storage technology. We have subsequently grown our commitment in association with NetApp’s evolution into a hybrid cloud services provider.
Our relationship with Cisco goes back more than a decade. We offer United Computing Services (UCS) and FlexPod appliances (a joint offering with NetApp) as well as other high technology products including networking and security products from CISCO Meraki.
We have been a reseller of HP hardware since 2008 and maintain full product knowledge and skills to architect solutions using HPE technologies.
SASIT became the first New Zealand reseller of Rubrik in early 2017. Rubrik provides high technology data management offerings to support services such as backup and recovery particularly for organisations that operate hybrid cloud environments.
Syncsort is a global software company specialising in big data, data integration and high-availability (HA) solutions particularly for IBM Power Systems.
Commvault is a global data protection software company. In addition to using CommVault products internally, SASIT has deployed and supports Commvault solutions widely within our customer base.
An Enterprise-level Partner since 2006, SASIT has been using the VMware product range to deliver managed services in support of our customers' mission-critical environments for over a decade.
CA Technologies ranks as one of the largest independent software companies in the world. SASIT’s partnership is focused is two key areas: monitoring and API management.
SASIT has been a Microsoft partner for many years focused particularly around operating systems and now heavily invested in Microsoft Azure.
AWS is a global leader in the provision of cloud services. SASIT has invested in specialist skills to facilitate the implementation and operation of hybrid architectures including cloud components from AWS, Azure and IBM cloud.
SASIT uses Halcyon systems management products from Helpsystems to monitor and control IBMi, AIX, Linux, and Windows servers.
SASIT’s partnership with Oracle is focused around the implementation and support of hardware products specifically ODA’s (Oracle Data Appliances)
With our business expanding within Australia we have partnered with Team Computing which has offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
The combined business: Team Computing-SASIT - offers Infrastructure as a Service (on systems implemented within four secure data centres in Australia: Two in Sydney and two in Melbourne), facilities management and other supporting IT services.
DXC Red Rock
In association with DXC Red Rock, SASIT provides a range of manged services for customers running Oracle ERP specifically JD Edwards in both on-premise and cloud environments.
SASIT has been providing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and managed service offerings to Infor customers, primarily M3 customers, for over a decade. This service provision extends from on-premise to cloud implementations across Australia and New Zealand.
Pegasus Software is a specialist finance, production and media management solution for marketing agencies. SASIT provides a range of managed services, facilities management offerings (such as DR and HA) for marketing agencies who are Pegasus customers.
SASIT has been working in partnership with business continuity specialists Plan B since 2004. Plan B provides Disaster Recovery facilities, cold start systems, media storage and backup facilities. SASIT compliments these offerings by providing hot-site recovery, storage replication and high-availability services.
The relationship with Equifax (then called Veda Advantage) began in 2006 with SASIT taking over management of the systems infrastructure for the New Zealand credit bureau. After an initial term the nature of the relationship changed with SASIT including the provision of the IBM Power Systems infrastructure on a consumption basis. Since then additional services have been added across many technologies, as well as joint initiatives into emerging markets in Asia and the Gulf States.
